ZelaaCoin is an Indian project aimed to produce automatic teller machines for cryptocurrencies, and for this purpose set to raise 100 mln US dollars.
Here are 6 wonderful facts about this project.
1. Although Zelaa started its ICO in February there’s no much info about it, while the founder claims it could raise $1.2 million in just 2 hours of its launch. According to TheCoinShark the ICO should have ended on June 5 but now the deadline is extended to November 15 as it’s been announced on ZelaaCoin website. It’s interesting that TheCoinShark employee Nikita Dotsenko is a Zelaa team member as well.
2. There’s no threads or any single reference on Zelaa on Bitcointalk, Reddit or Slack, nothing in Medium too. There’s no hint on airdrop and bounty campaign, though the latter is mentioned in its whitepaper. It seems nobody have ever heard of this project.
3. ZelaaCoin’s founder Sahil Arora is 19 years old. Despite his young age he’s an experienced entrepreneur. He claims he was 16 when he began to develop his innovation products and software. Since then Sahil managed to establish 4 businesses and could raise 40,000 dollars for his iris scanning software Eye‐D, which he allegedly sold to a big Indian corporation. However, this is impossible to verify.
4. A successful ICO demands good website, but Arora doesn’t bother with it. He bought an ICO template for $22 and used it “as is” even leaving the logo of the template’s demo version. Yet the token distribution graphs are the literally same.
5. No team member besides Sahil Arora has mentioned their participation in ZelaaCoin in their social profiles. Even if this team is real, the guys look very young and their experience in the ATM, vendor machines, and blockchain development is questionable.
6. The project is set to list its token on LaToken. Like attracts like.
Despite the fact that Arora has been numerously accused of stealing of ideas and products, he managed to keep getting away with things.
It’s amazing how he is excellent in gaining people’s trust. For instance, a well‐known entrepreneur Bibop Gresta, a founder of Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, has recently announced through his Twitter that he is on advisory board at ZelaaCoin. So have European leading Growth Hacker Giacomo Arcaro. In fact, Sahil used to involve various Indian celebrities in his ventures before, such as famous actor and fitness icon Sahil Khan.
Today this young guy enjoys being in the spotlight of the big cryptocurrency events as a guest star. Indeed, audacity is not an offence but a blessing.
